ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for issue of Habeas Corpus directing respondent Nos.4 and 5 to produce Pala Praveen, son of the petitioner, in the Court and set him at liberty. At the hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader representing the learned Advocate General (AP), on instructions, submitted that in Cr.No.66/2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302 and 380 IPC, the alleged detenu was arrested on 24-8-2018 and produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate, who remanded him on 25-8-2018 to judicial custody. The above submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader is not disputed by the learned Counsel for the petitioner. Inasmuch as the alleged detenu has been arrested and is presently in judicial custody, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.
