The inaction of respondents 1 and 2 in taking steps for providing police protection to petitioner's property, despite written representation dated 29.04.2013, is canvassed in this writ petition. The Assistant Government Pleader (Home) plac ed before the Court the written instructions and submits that the police have registered a crime and after investigation filed final report into the Court. The written instructions are placed on record. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed, leaving all remedies open to petitioner. There shall no order as to costs.
