Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and standing counsel. The grievance of the petitioner does not survive for consideration, inasmuch as the respondent has cancelled the subject notification and issued a fresh notification on 09.10.2014. By placing the stand of the learned counsel on record, the writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
