ORDER

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.190 of 2018 pending on the file of Additional Junior Civil Judge-cum-Judicial First Class Magistrate, Bapatla, registered for the offences punishable under Section 506, 509, 354A, 354-C, 354-D IPC, on various grounds. At the stage of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner requested this Court to direct the Magistrate to dispose of the calendar case as expeditiously as possible since it is a crime of 2015 and dispense with the appearance of the petitioner before the Court. This Court cannot exercise power under Section 205 Cr.P.C.

or Rule 37 of the Criminal Rules of Practice except granting liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate application before the Court below Therefore, the criminal petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to file appropriate application before the Magistrate and on filing such application, the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Bapatla is directed to dispose of the same within a week from the date of application and also direct the Magistrate to dispose of C.C.No.190 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible, in any event not later than six months, from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
