Busireddy Vinay Kumar Reddy S/O Late Yadagiri Reddy v. The State Of Telangana

HONOURABLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.1556 of 2015 ORDER :

This Criminal Petition is filed by the Petitioners/Accused Nos.1, 2 and 4 to 6 under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C. No.860 of 2014 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of the First Class, Karimnagar, Karimnagar District registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

2) The defacto-complainant and the 1st accused in person representing the other accused Nos.2, 4 to 6 as G.P.A. holder through their advocates are present and they want to compound the above offences. Both the parties requested to compound the above offences by filing petition before this Court. Having heard the parties, permission is thereby accorded as the parties stated that they amicably settled the matter at the intervention of the elders and for the welfare and for the wellbeing of the defacto-complainant in particular including the settlement of the divorce O.P to put an end by converting the same as mutual divorce petition and to purchase peace and permit to compound the above offences. Accordingly, the offences are compounded by invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C in terms of their compromise at the instance of the defacto-complainant since present with the accused.

3) Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed and all the proceedings relating to C.C. No.860 of 2014 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of the First Class, Karimnagar, Karimnagar District are quashed. The bail bonds of the petitioners, if any, shall stand cancelled.

4) Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
