HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No. 1020 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging willful and deliberate violation of the order of this Court dated 23.02.2015 passed in Writ Petition No. 3960 of 2015.

The complaint of the petitioner in the Writ Petition is that the application submitted by the petitioner in Form-VI(A) on 10.10.2014 for issuance of Pattadar Passbooks and title deeds in respect of the land to an extent of Ac.6.06 cents in Sy.No.309 o f Somireddypalli Village, Brahmamgarimatam Mandal, YSR Kadapa District has not been considered by the respondents. Considering the contentions of the petitioners, this Court by order dated 23.02.2015 passed orders in Writ Petition No. 3960 of 2015 directing the respondents to consider and pass

appropriate orders on the application of the petitioner dated 10.10.2014 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order.

Now it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that the said application of the petitioner has been rejected by respondents through order dated 21.02.2016 on the ground that the land in Sy.No.309 of Somireddipalli Village is a waste land and no previous sale transactions have taken place in respect of the said land. It is further stated that the said land is not suitable for cultivation and the same is a vacant land. Inasmuch as the respondents have passed a reasoned order, I do not see any ground to proceed further with the contempt case .

The Contempt Case is therefore closed. However, it is left open for the petitioners to challenge the order dated 21.02.2016, if so chooses, in appropriate proceedings. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Contempt Case shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
