THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.29062 of 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of respondent Nos.4 and 5 in not accepting the petitioner's offer for compounding of the offence registered against the petitioner under Sections 135(b), 138(a)(b) and 150 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003, in C.C.No.40 of 2015 pending on the file of the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Nellore, in spite of paying the entire assessed loss amounts as fixed by the respondents.

It is submitted by both the learned Counsel that the issue raised in the present Writ Petition is squarely covered by an order of this Court in W.P.No.30981 of 2014, dated 16.10.2014. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is also disposed of in terms of the order in W.P.No.30981 of 2014, dated 16.10.2014. The miscellaneous petitions pending in this Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
