THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.31500 of 2014 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4. 2.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under:- "...to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, to declare the action of the 3rd and 4th respondents in frequently calling and summoning to the Police Station and harassing the petitioner to leave the house and pressurizing to give the divorce to the 5th respondent even though there is no civil or criminal case pending against the petitioner is illegal, arbitrary, unjust, violation of principles of natural justice and violation of articles 14, 15, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India, and to grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case, and consequently directing 3rd and 4th respondents not to call the petitioner to the Police Station and not to harass the petitioner to give divorce and settle the family disputes with the respondent No.5 as it is of civil nature, and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner informs the Court that after filing of the writ petition, the matter has been settled out of the Court between the petitioner and the 5th respondent. Therefore, no further cause would survive in the writ petition. 4.

Taking the said submission into consideration, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition and the same is liable to be closed.
