This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/A2 to A5, under Section 482 Cr.P.C, seeking to quash the proceedings initiated against them in FIR No.93 of 2015 on the file of Women Police Station, Warangal City, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State.
3. A perusal of the record would show that there is material, prima facie, sufficient to investigate into the allegations made against the petitioners/A2 to A5 in the FIR. There are no valid grounds to quash the FIR.
4. In the facts and circumstances of the case and as requested by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the Station House Officer, Women Police Station, Warangal City, not to arrest the petitioners herein/A2 to A5, however, the investigation shall continue to its logical end and the petitioners shall co-operate with the investigating agency for smooth completion of the investigation.
