Nasika Jagarimohan Rao, v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.27020 of 2017 ORDER:
This writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India challenges the inaction on the part of respondent Nos.1 to 5 in restraining respondent Nos.6 and 7 from fixing the programme of installation of Dwajasthambham on 18.08.2017 in Sri Ganga Brahmaramba Sahitha Sri Nagalingeswara Swamy Temple, Devangapuri Village, Prakasam District.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents.
It is the principal contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that contrary to Agamashastra, respondent Nos.6 and 7 are proceeding with the installation of Dwajasthambham in Dakshinayanam.
Though this Court specifically asked the petitioner to show any restriction on the same in Agamashastra, no material could be placed by the petitioner before this Court. Therefore, in the absence of any violation of statutory or constitutional right, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. __________________ A.V.SESHA SAI, J Date: 17.08.2017 ES
