The only grievance of the petitioners is that their applications for grant of community certificates were rejected on 05-01-2018 by the 3rd respondent. Against the same, the petitioners filed appeal before the 2nd respondent and the 2nd respondent issued notice dated 16-02-2018. Till date, the appeal is not being disposed of.

Heard both sides.

In view of the facts and circumstances, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioners, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
