O R D E R

Sri G.L.Narasimha Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner in this contempt case, addressed letter dated 04.04.2017 to the Registry stating that his client wishes to approach the Government to get fair compensation under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. Sri M.Ram Reddy, learned counsel representing Sri G.L.Narasimha Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner, therefore states that the petitioner does not wish to pursue this contempt case. As the order passed by this Court was only to the effect that the authorities should not interfere with the lands covered by the pattadar pass books and title deeds issued to the petitioner except in accordance with the due procedure laid down by law and as the petitioner now desires to go before the Government to seek compensation, the Contempt Case is closed leaving it open to him to do so in accordance with law.
