THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.15187 OF 2017 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus to declare the E-procurement Tender notice, dated 22.03.2017, issued by the 4th respondent calling for tenders without following the procedure contemplated under law and without there being any proper competition, as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, set aside the same.
When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel for respondents 4 and 5 filed a copy of the 'Form of Assurance', dated 08.06.2017, given by the 4th respondent - Commissioner, Siricilla Municipality, and informed that in view of said assurance, no orders are required to be passed in this writ petition.
Recording the said submission and in view of the form of assurance given by the 4th respondent, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
