HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SEETHARAMA MURTI MACMA.Nos.2333 and 2336 of 2016 COMMON JUDGMENT:

The matters are settled before the Lok Adalat and an Award has been passed by the Lok Adalat Bench at Hyderabad. The said Award is placed on record.

Perusal of the said Award reflects that though the learned counsel Insurance Company did not appear before the Lok Adalat, the Manager of The New India Assurance Company Limited had appeared before the Lok Adalat and after the matter is amicably settled, the Adalat Bench presided over by a Chairman, who is a former Judge of this Court, had passed an Award. The identity and authority of the Manager, who had appeared before the Adalat, is not in dispute. In view of the above, the appeals are disposed of in terms of the Award of the Lok Adalat Bench at Hyderabad.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in these appeals shall stand closed.
