HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN WRIT PETITION No.7712 OF 2009 ORDER:

The petitioner's grievance in this Writ Petition is that the respondents were not conducting public auction for grant of leasehold rights of agricultural lands situated in difference survey numbers of Ravuru village. A consequential direction is sought to the respondents to conduct public auction of the leasehold rights. While the petitioner claims to have submitted a representation to the authorities in this regard I consider it appropriate to permit the petitioner to submit a representation afresh to the third respondent within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The third respondent shall consider the said representation, take action in accordance with law, and communicate its decision to the petitioner, at the earliest, and in any event not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
