HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 30947 of 2018 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Government Pleader for Revenue (TG). With consent of both the parties, the writ petition being taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the second respondent in not hearing and not disposing of the revision No.F3/ 1907/ 2018 and stay petition filed against the order of the third respondent in Case No.D/ 726/ 2017 dated 18.06.2018, as arbitrary and illegal.

3) Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that though the revision was filed on 20.06.2018 till date no orders are passed either in the revision or in the stay petition filed along with the revision. 4) The Government Pleader for Revenue (TG) submits that a direction may be issued for an early disposal of the revision. 5) Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the submissions made, the present writ petition is disposed of, directing the second respondent to dispose of the revision No.F3/ 1907/ 2018 filed by the petitioner against the order of the third respondent in Case No.D/ 726/ 2017, dated 18.06.2018 or pass orders on the stay application filed along with the revision, after

hearing all the concerned including the petitioner, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three (03) to six (06) months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. There shall be no order as to costs. 6) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
