...Respondents

Counsel for the petitioner: Sri Kuriti Bhaskara Rao Counsel for respondent Nos.1 & 2: AGP for Panchayat Raj The Court made the following:

ORDER:

Assailing the inaction of respondent No.3 in disposing of the petitioner's appeal filed against the building permission granted in favour of respondent No.4 by the executive authority of respondent No.3-Gram Panchayat, the petitioner filed this writ petition. At the hearing, Sri G.Narender Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Panchayat Raj Institutions (TS), submitted that since the petitioner's appeal is pending, respondent No.3 headed by the Sarpanch will dispose of the same expeditiously.

As the appeal pertains to grant of building permission and respondent No.4 is allegedly going ahead with the construction of the building at a brisk phase coupled with the fact that the appeal is pending from the second week of February, 2016 respondent No.3 is directed to dispose of the same within three weeks from the date of

receipt of a copy of this order, after notice to the petitioner as well as respondent No.4.

Subject to the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, WP.M.P.No.4788 of 2016 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
