THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.14629 of 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed alleging delay in disposal of C.C.No.417 of 2009 and C.C.No.453 of 2009 on the file of the learned VII Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Hayathnagar. Since the aforesaid cases are criminal cases, the petitioner should have taken appropriate criminal proceedings, if there is any grievance. This Court cannot give any direction to the competent Court where the criminal cases are pending in exercise of its power under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, unless it is an extraordinary case.

In the circumstances, this Court sees no ground to entertain the present Writ Petition, and the same is, accordingly, dismissed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to take appropriate criminal proceedings in accordance with law. The miscellaneous petitions pending in this Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
