This Contempt Case is filed by petitioner alleging willful disobedience of the order dt.19.09.2016 in WPMP.No.35999 of 2016 in WP.No.29073 of 2016.

The petitioner had sought various reliefs in the said Writ Petition and had submitted a representation on 06.05.2016 to the respondents to stop construction by respondent nos.5 to 7 in the Writ Petition.

Sri N. Praveen Kumar, counsel for 1st respondent, states that the subject property falls within L.B. Nagar Circle of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, and that the Meerpet Municipality has no jurisdiction to stop any illegal construction in the subject land. He has also placed before me proceedings dt.30.05.2016 and 09.12.2016 stating that mutation, demarcation, fixing of boundaries and correction of entries in Revenue Records cannot be done by the Municipality.

In this view of the matter, I am satisfied that the respondents cannot be held liable for any Contempt of Court. 5.

Since it is now placed on record that the subject land does not fall within Meerpet Municipality and falls within L.B. Nagar Circle of

MSR,J cc_14_2017 Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, the petitioners, if so advised, may implead the said Corporation in the Writ Petition and seek appropriate relief against them. Therefore, the Contempt Case is closed. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in this Contempt Case, shall stand closed.
