Aggrieved by the action of 2nd respondent - Regional Passport Office, represented by Passport Officer, in not renewing the passport of the petitioner bearing No.G7913794, by considering his application dated 26.07.2018, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri K.Lakshman, learned Assistant Solicitor General for respondents. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of the learned counsel, writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 26.07.2018, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
