This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.157 of 2015 on the file of the IV Additional Junior Civil Judge-cum-Judicial I Class Magistrate, Chittoor.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to permit the petitioner to withdraw the Criminal Petition. Permission is accorded.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the petitioner is working as Professor and his presence may be dispensed with before the trial Court on each and every date of adjournment.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The presence of the petitioner is dispensed with before the trial Court on each and every date of adjournment. The trial Court is directed to proceed with the case even in the absence of the petitioner. However, the petitioner shall appear before the trial Court as and when his presence is so required. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
