O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioners is that the respondent - police authorities are not registering the crime based on their complaint dated 10-07-2018 and taking action in accordance with law.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions of Sub Inspector of Police, Chatrai Police Station, Krishna District dated 29.08.2018, submits that based on the complaint of the petitioners, case in Cr.No.50 of 2017 was registered on 26.06.2017 and investigation was taken up. He further submits that there is dispute in respect of the subject land between the petitioners and the Forest Department and that in the complaint, petitioners have not given the names of offenders', who were alleged to have committed criminal trespass and other offences.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that petitioners are not aware of the names of the offenders'.

In view of the same, writ petition is disposed of directing the police authorities to follow the guidelines laid down by Supreme Court in LALITA KUMARI v. GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH1, and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
