HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.31469 of 2018 ORDER:
1) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 2ND respondent in not disposing the stay petition in L.Dis.No.2338/ 2018/ D4 in the revision filed by the petitioner against the orders in Dis.No.C3/ 1223/ 2014, dated 04.12.2017 passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kalyanadurgam, as illegal, arbitrary and against the principles of natural justice.
2) The Government Pleader for Revenue (AP), who took time to get instructions, failed to receive any instructions from the authorities with regard to the status of revision filed against the orders in Dis.No.C3/ 1223/ 2014, dated 04.12.2017. 3) Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent, before whom the revision is pending, to dispose of the revision No.2338/ 2018/ D4 along with the stay application, after hearing all the concerned including the petitioner, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three (03) to six (06) months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. However, if for any reason, the revision could not be disposed of within the time stipulated, the 2nd respondent shall pass orders on the said application at the earliest in accordance with law, within a period
of two to three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
4) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
