THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No. 9157 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure by the petitioners-accused Nos. 3 to 7 and 9 to 11 to quash the proceedings against them in crime No. 79 of 2018 of Guntakal Rural Police Station, Ananthapuramu District.

After arguing the case for awhile, learned counsel for the petitioners has requested this Court to direct the concerned S.H.O. to follow guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Dr. Subash Kashinath Mahajan Vs. State of Maharashtra1.

Acceding to the request of learned counsel for the petitioners, the Station House Officer, Guntakal Rural Police Station, Ananthapuramu District, is directed to follow the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Dr. Subash Kashinath Mahajan (supra).

With the above direction, the criminal petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this criminal petition shall stand closed in consequence.
