RESPONDENTS Petition under Arlicle 226 of the Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus by declaring the action of the Respondents in not processing the applications for release of electricity connections to the petitioners building premises bearing Plot No.131, admeasuring 167 sq yards, Phase-ll, Situated in Sy.No.37 of Gopanpally Village, Serilingampally , Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, now Medchal-Malkajgiri District as illegal, arbitrary, unjust and consequently direct the respondents to process applications for providing electricity connections and to release service connections with meters without any further delay.

Heard Smt. Parameswari Kapilavayi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Energy appearing on behalf of respondent No.1 and Sri R.Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for TSSPDCL appearing for respondent Nos.2 to 4.

2. The petitioner approached the Court seeking prayer as under:

"...to issue an appropriate writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus by declaring the action of the respondents in not processing the applications for release of electricity connections to the petitioner's building premises bearing Plot No.131, admeasuring 167 sq' yards, Phase-II, situated in Sy. No. 37 of Gopanpally Village, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District now Medchal-Malkajgiri District as illegal, arbitrary unjust and consequently direct the respondents to process applications for providing electricity connections and to release service connections with meters without any further delaY and to Pass..'"'

It is .epresented by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.2 to 4, that the subject issue in the, present writ petition is squarely covered by the order of this Court dated 02.07.2024 passed in W.p.No.16960 of 2024, and hence, the present writ petition could be disposed of in terms of the aforesaid order.

Bringing the said submission of both the learned counsel on record, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent Nos.2 to 4 to release the electricity service connection with meters to the petitioner's building premises bearing plot No.131, admeasuring L67 sq. yards, phase-fl, situated in Sy. No. 37 of Gopanpally Vittage, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District now Medcha!-Matkajgiri District, on the apDlication submitted by the petitioner, in accordance to law, within a period of four (4) weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, there shall no order as to costs.
