It is the case of the petitioner that her late father-in-law was given lease of the property bearing House No.16-5-189/1 way back in 1948. After his death, the petitioner's husband was in occupation of the land. They developed the land by constructing mulgies/shops in order to eke out their livelihood. While so, the third respondent vide its letter dated 07.03.1996 informed the A.P. Housing Board that 126.99 sq. yards is effected for construction of road over railway track at Dabeerpura and requested the Housing Board to handover the land to them to provide alternative accommodation to the husband of the petitioner. When the respondents tried to interfere with the possession without providing alternative accommodation, the husband of the petitioner filed W.P. No.

415 of 1996 and the same was disposed of by directing the respondents not to interfere with the property of the petitioner without following due process of law. After disposal of the said writ petition, the third respondent issued a letter on 07.01.1999 informing the Housing Board to provide alternative accommodation to the petitioner with their consent. The Housing Board in its letter dated 14.08.1998 expressed its willingness to pay compensation to the structures and providing alternative land of an extent of 47.83 sq. yards at T.B. Hospital, Dabeerpura, Hyderabad. In spite of the same, when the respondents 1 and 2 started interfering with the land, the present Writ Petition was filed. This Court, by order dated 20.03.2012, granted status quo and the said order is being continued till today.

Even after four years, no counter affidavit is filed by the respondents.

order granted on 20.03.2012 is made as a final order and the respondents are directed not to interfere with the possession of the land of the petitioner except in accordance with law.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
