THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No. 9161 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure by the petitioner-accused to quash the proceedings against him in crime No. 146 of 2018 of Prakash Nagar Police Station, Rajamahendravaram Urban, East Godavari District.

After arguing the case for awhile, learned counsel for the petitioner has requested this Court to direct the concerned S.H.O. to follow guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Dr. Subash Kashinath Mahajan Vs. State of Maharashtra1.

Acceding to the request of learned counsel for the petitioner, the Station House Officer, Prakash Nagar Police Station, Rajamahendravaram Urban, East Godavari District, is directed to follow the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Dr. Subash Kashinath Mahajan (supra).

With the above direction, the criminal petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this criminal petition shall stand closed in consequence.
