Dr. Vuruvakali Ratnappa Chowdary v. The Government Of Andhra Pradesh
THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO WRIT PETITION No.13619 of 2010 ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) The action of the respondents in not taking steps to install the statue of Dr. Y.S. Rajashekhara Reddy at Puttaparti, is questioned in this writ petition, as arbitrary and illegal.
Sri V. Venkata Mayur, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that, pursuant to the interim order passed by this Court on 16.7.2010 in W.P.M.P. No. 17158 of 2010, the statue was not installed by the respondents.
As no statue has been installed for the past six years, we see no reason to keep the writ petition pending on the file of this Court. Suffice it to make it clear that, if the petitioner has any grievance regarding its installation in future, it is always open to him to avail his legal remedies. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
