SHANKAR NARAYANA Writ Petition No.15177 of 2010 Order: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) Both Sri P.Venkata Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners, and learned Government Pleader for Transports, would agree that the subject matter in this writ petition is covered by the judgment of the Division Bench in Khader Basha and others vs. Regional Transport Officer, Chittoor and others1.

Following the said judgment, and in terms thereof, this writ petition is also disposed of.

As the petitioners are said to have paid only 50% of the life tax, the petitioners shall pay the balance 50% of the life tax within four weeks from today.
