HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO W.P.No.3474 of 2017

ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the 3rd respondent in calling the petitioner to the police station and directing him to settle the matrimonial disputes with the 4th respondent, as arbitrary and illegal.

A counter-affidavit is filed by the 3rd respondent, wherein it is stated as follows:

"It is submitted that the 4th respondent herein i.e., Smt Gandla Mounika has given a complaint on 20.12.2016 against the petitioner and her in-laws alleging that they are harassing her for want of additional dowry and requested the police to counsel her husband and in-laws.

It is submitted that based on the above complaint, it was entered in the station records vide Reception No.16, dated 20.12.2016 and taken up for preliminary enquiry. The petitioner and his parents were enquired and they denied the allegations made by the complainant, hence the matter was not further enquired into. The allegations to the contrary made in the affidavit are not correct and hereby denied. The allegation that the respondent No.3 is calling the petitioner to the police station and directing the petitioner to settle the matrimonial disputes with the respondent No.4 is not correct and hence denied. It is false to state that the 3rd respondent is interfering with the matrimonial disputes between the petitioner and respondent No.4."

In view of the aforesaid averments, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
