Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare appearing for respondent No.1 and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents 2 to 6. The grievance of the petitioner is that he made an application before the 6th respondent for issuance of Local Area Certificate, but the 6th respondent has not taken any decision so far. Learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare appearing for respondent No.1 submits that the 6th respondent will consider the application of the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioner.
In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 6th respondent to consider the application of the petitioner within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand dismissed.
