HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 30863 of 2018 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Government Pleader for Revenue (TG). With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition being taken up for hearing at the admission stage itself.

2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the third respondent in not disposing of the ROR Appeal No.127 of 2017 filed by the petitioners against the proceedings No.B/ 471/ 2017-18 dated 10.06.2017 passed by he Tahsildar, Pochampally, as illegal and arbitrary.

3) There is no necessity to put the unofficial respondents on notice as this Court is not venturing to adjudicate the issue on merits.

4) Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, the grievance of the petitioners is that though the appeal was filed in the month of September, 2017 till date no orders are passed in the appeal.

5) The Government Pleader for Revenue (TG) submits that a direction may be issued for an early disposal of the appeal. 6) Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the arguments advanced, the present writ petition is disposed

of, directing the third respondent to dispose of the ROR Appeal No.127 of 2017, after hearing all the concerned including the petitioners, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. There shall be no order as to costs.

7) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
