ORDER:

Feeling aggrieved by the seizure of tractor and trailor bearing registration Nos.AP02TA 8046 and 8047, the petitioner filed this writ petition.

At the hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue (AP), on instructions, submitted that as the petitioner's tractor and trailor were involved in illegal transportation of sand for the third time, a notice under Rule 18(i)(b) as framed under G.O.Ms.No.95, Industries & Commerce (Mines-IV) Department, dated 28.08.2014, for their confiscation was issued by respondent No.2 and that the petitioner has submitted his objections on 26.12.2015. The learned

Assistant Government Pleader further submitted that respondent No.2 will consider the objections of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order.

In the light of the above submissions, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.2 to pass an appropriate order on the notice issued by him after considering the objections of the petitioner within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, WP.M.P.No.1131 of 2016 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
