Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor for the respondent State and perused the grounds in the petition and the judgment, dated 03.07.2018, in STC.No.7746 of 2018. 2.

A perusal of the record, particularly the judgment of the trial Court is very clear in suspending the licence. Hence, the imposing of the fine and suspension of licence no way requires interference including simple imprisonment for two (02) days, but for the period of suspension of licence of one year from the date of judgment, dated 03.07.2018, to reduce to nine (09) months.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed in part. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed in consequence.
