HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.15715 OF 2017 ORDER:

The case of the petitioner is that she made an application dated 25.01.2016 to the 3rd respondent for survey and demarcation and also for sub division of the land admeasuring Ac.2.86 cents in Sy.No.261 situateed in Nalliparthi Village, Salur Mandal, Vizianagaram District and the same is not being disposed of. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submits that for as far as sub-division of survey numbers is concerned, Assistant Director of Survey and Records is the competent authority and petitioner has to make an application to him.

In view of the above facts and circumstances, it is open for the petitioner to make an application to the Assistant Director of Survey and Records in respect of subdivision of survey numbers and on such application being made by the petitioner, the Assistant Director of Survey and Records shall dispose of the same in accordance with law. The 3rd respondent shall also dispose of the application of the petitioner in accordance with law and take action accordingly.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
