ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the action of respondent No.1 in initiating proceedings under Section 6-A of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (for short 'the Act') as illegal and arbitrary.
At the hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (AP), on instructions, submitted that respondent No.1 has disposed of the proceedings under Section 6-A of the Act on 06.02.2010. In the light of this fact, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. Hence, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.Nos.25647 & 25648 of 2009 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
