THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.40488 of 2015 ORDER:

The petitioner is one of the accused in Crime No.102 of 2013 on the file of Central Crime Station, Hyderabad. His grievance in this writ petition was that the police authorities were not completing investigation in the said crime despite passage of years and were subjecting him to harassment.

Written instructions dated 22.12.2015 were furnished by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Team-IV, Central Crime Station, Detective Department, Hyderabad, stating to the effect that the investigation in Crime No.102 of 2013 had been completed and a charge sheet was laid before the learned XII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, vide SR.No.1147 of 2015 and calendar case number was awaited.

In the light of the afore-stated development, the grievance of the petitioner as regards the alleged inaction on the part of the police authorities in completing the investigation stands settled. Needless to state, it shall be open to the petitioner to take recourse to appropriate remedies available to him in law as regards this development. The writ petition is accordingly closed.
