This writ petition is filed praying to grant the following relief :
".... Declaring the action of the respondents 1 to 4 in not continuing the petitioners as Guest Lecturers in their respective subjects in the 3rd and 4th respondents colleges without assailing any reasons even though they were appointed by the respondents on 05.07.2012 itself as illegal, arbitrary, abuse of process of law and violation of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to continue the petitioners as Guest Lecturers in the respondent 3 and 4 colleges in their respective subjects in the interest of justice and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

This Court by order dated 25.07.2012 granted interim direction in W.P.M.P.No.29126 of 2012. In the said W.P.M.P., petitioners sought for direction to continue them as guest lecturers in respondents 3 and 4 colleges in their respective subjects.

When the matter is taken up learned Standing counsel, on instructions, submits that in pursuant to the interim order, petitioners are continued as guest lecturers. 4.
In view of the said statement, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, it is open to the petitioners to work out their remedies, if any fresh cause of action arises. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
