THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.30974 of 2018 ORDER:

The alleged inaction on the part of the official respondents in preventing the unofficial respondents from constructing Mandapam on a public road, is under challenge in the present writ petition. When the matter is taken up, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioners that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioners herein, the petitioners herein submitted a representation on 27.08.2018 to the respondent Corporation. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the unofficial respondents herein are proceeding with illegal constructions on a public road.

On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation that if any such representation is submitted by the petitioners herein, the same will be verified and appropriate action will be taken as per law by the 3rd respondent. Having regard to the above submissions, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 3rd respondent to verify the representation dated 27.08.2018, said to have been submitted by the petitioners herein, and take appropriate action in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
