HONOURABLE SRI J USTICE M.S.K . J AISWAL CRIMINAL PETITION No. 13182 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the order dated 21.06.2016 passed in Crl.R.P.No.62 of 2013 by the learned VII Additional District and Sessions Judge, Gudur, SPSR Nellore District.

Through the order under challenge, the lower revisional Court granted maintenance of Rs.2,000/- per month to the second respondent and directed the petitioner to pay arrears at the same rate from 13.8.2013 till the date of the said order. The learned Counsel for the petitioner while reiterating the contentions raised before the Courts below contended that there is no evidence available on record to support the means of the petitioner and that the maintenance granted by the court below is on higher side,.

Having heard the learned Counsel on either side and gone through the material available on record, I see no valid grounds, muchless a substantial ground to interfere with the order of the Court below. The maintenance granted by the Court below is just and reasonable and there are no valid grounds warranting interference with the same.

The Criminal Petition is therefore dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Criminal Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs. -------------------------------------- JUSTICE M.S.K. JAISWAL DATED 29TH September, 2016.
