THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.10672 of 2015 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking to modify the order dated 5.10.2015 passed in Crl.M.P.No.345 of 2015 in Crl.A.P.No.890 of 2015 by the III Additional District & Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B. Nagar.

By the order under challenge, the learned Sessions Judge suspended the operation of the sentence passed by the trial Court against the petitioner till disposal of the appeal on condition of the petitioner depositing 1/4th of the fine amount of Rs.7,90,000/- awarded towards compensation to the complainant in the lower court within 15 days, and on the same terms and conditions as imposed by the trial Court while suspending the sentence.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner prayed to relax the condition of deposit of 1/4th of the fine amount alone. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition of deposit of 1/4th of the fine amount imposed by the learned Sessions Judge is set aside. The other conditions imposed by the learned Sessions Judge remain.
