ORAL ORDER:

Against the order of termination from service of Field Assistant dated 27.2.2018, petitioner claims to have preferred appeal on 15.3.2018 and alleging that said appeal is yet to be disposed of, this writ petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3 and learned standing counsel for 4th respondent and they agreed for disposal of the writ petition at the admission stage with a direction to the Appellate Authority to dispose of the pending appeal expeditiously.

In the circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, writ petition is disposed of, directing the Appellate Authority to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner on 15.3.2018 and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
