This Court by an order dated 30.04.2024 had disposed of the writ petition namely W.P.No.831 of granting the liberty to the petitioners to file an appeal before the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal within a period of eight weeks. The period of eight weeks has expired on 30.06.2024. Therefore, this application seeking extension of time for filing an appeal before the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Kolkata has been filed.

Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the Debts Recovery Tribunal-I, Hyderabad has uploaded the order dated 02.01.2014 in

S.A.No.24 of 2008 only on 09.07.2024 and the copy of the order has been made available to the petitioners now and therefore, petitioners be granted the liberty to file an appeal within a period of 30 days from today.

However, the aforesaid prayer is opposed by learned counsel for respondent No.1 and he prays for and is granted a week's time to enable him to file counter to I.A.No.3 of 2024.
