Sri. Kanuganti Shekar v. The State Of Telangana.,Rep.,Pp
THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.2078 of 2016 ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.) to quash the proceedings in FIR No.18 of 2016 on the file of the Jangaon Police Station, Warangal District, registered for the offence under Sections 420 and 406 IPC and Sections 7 and 7-A of the Essential Commodities Act.
Heard.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in the guise of investigation, the police are harassing the petitioners and that the petitioners are willing to cooperate with the investigating agency for the purpose of investigation.
On perusal of the entire material available on record, prima facie there are allegations against the petitioners/A.1 to A.6, which are to be investigated into by the police. Hence, this Court is not inclined to quash the impugned proceedings at this stage. However, considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners are ready and willing to cooperate with the investigating agency, the concerned police are directed to complete the investigation without arresting the petitioners/A.1 to A.6 and file final report, if any, in accordance with law. The Criminal Petition is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions filed in this Criminal Petition, if any, shall stand closed. _____________________ JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO 19.02.2016 pln
