HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.37420 of 2016 ORDER:

The present writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to investigate into Crime No.396 of 2014 and file a final report.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The main grievance of the petitioner is that on the complaint filed by him on 04.08.2014, the 2nd respondent registered Crime No.396 of 2014 against the respondents 3 to 6, who tried to grab the plots allotted to the members of Sri Ramalingeswara Weaker Section Cooperative Housing Society Limited, but, the police did not choose to conduct investigation though the crime was registered in the year 2014. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merits, 2nd respondent is directed to conduct investigation in the above crime, complete the same, and file a final report in either way, as expeditiously as possible.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
