THE HONB'E SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.18945 OF 2012 ORDER:
The writ petition is filed challenging the tender notification dated 13.06.2012, issued by the 3rd respondent-Chief General Manager reserving all the civil works in favour of all the Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes Labour Societies/individuals only.
Heard Sri G.V. Shivaji, learned counsel for the petitioner, Smt K. Aruna, learned Standing Counsel for A.P. GENCO and Sri J. Satyaprasad, learned counsel for the 4th respondent.
This Court granted interim order on 26.06.2012 and vacate interim order petition came to be dismissed on 28.10.2015. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel for A.P. GENCO submits that so far as the notification dated 13.06.2012, the time had lapsed and now it has become necessary for the Corporation to proceed with carrying out the work. In the process, the DISCOMES have decided to take into consideration of all the technical and commercial eligible offers and would issue a fresh notification stating that all the eligible Scheduled Castes and Schedule Tribes persons would be entitled to participate in the tender process.
Recording the said submission, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
