HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Criminal Petition No.617 of 2016 O R D E R :

The petitioner, who is accused in Crime No.976 of of Rajendra Nagar Police Station, Cyberabad, registered for the offences punishable under Section 323 I.P.C. and Section 3(1)(x) of S.Cs. & S.Ts. (PoA) Act, 1989, filed this petition under Section 438 of Cr.P.C., seeking anticipatory bail.

The allegations against the petitioner are not so serious in nature, but, in any event, as there is a bar for grant of anticipatory bail to the accused in the crime registered for the offence under Section 3 (1) (x) of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court where the F.I.R. is pending and file bail application and on such surrender and filing of bail application, the Court where the F.I.R. is pending is directed to release the petitioner - accused on bail, on the same day, on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with one surety for a like sum and further petitioner - accused is directed to appear before the Respondent-Police as and when required.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
