Respondents Counsel for the Petitioners :

Mr. K.Rama Subba Rao Counsel for the Respondents :

Mr.J.Anil Kumar for R1 The Court made the following:

CVNR,J & GSP, J Order: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed by the petitioners who are parties to Lok Adalat Case No.804 of 2008 on the file of respondent No.1, ten years after the Lok Adalat Award was passed, on a jejune ground that respondent No.2 has not stood on his promise of paying something more than what is contemplated in the settlement. In our opinion, this writ petition is highly frivolous and vexatious. Having entered into a settlement with their eyes wide open and allowed respondent No.1 to pass an Award, the petitioners turned around and woke up after 10 years to file the present writ petition. The specious plea of the petitioners that they were taken for a ride by respondent No.2, remained wholly unsubstantiated. Though we have given the option to the learned counsel for the petitioners to withdraw the writ petition, he has not agreed for the same.

2.

The writ petition is dismissed as wholly without merit. For indulging in vexatious litigation, the petitioners are saddled with costs of Rs.25,000/-, payable to the A.P. Legal Services Authority, within one month.
