THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.31157 of 2018 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise appearing for the respondents. When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that, for redressal of his grievance, petitioner submitted a representation on 19.04.2018 to the 2nd respondent, but no action has been taken so far on the said representation, despite lapse of considerable length of time.

On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that if any such representation is pending consideration before the 2nd respondent, the same will be verified and appropriate action will be taken/ orders will be passed strictly in accordance with law. Recording the above submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the 2nd respondent to verify the representation, dated 19.04.2018, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, and take appropriate action/ pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
