When this matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that this writ petition is filed seeking to restore the annual increments of the petitioner after expiry of the punishment period.

The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that he received instructions to the effect that the increments of the petitioner were already restored on 16.10.2010.

Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
